Adult Pottery - 10905212

This 7- week class will be taught by Deanna Estes-Culler, and is for anyone interested in learning how to create functional and/or fun objects from clay. Beginners will start with hand-building techniques, and may progress to the basics of wheel-throwing, if time allows. Experienced students will have more choice of creative methods to increase their existing skills. Necessary tools will be available. Information will be available for anyone interested in purchasing their own tools.
Please bring a personal hand-towel, a large butter-sized container with lid, and a notebook and pen to the 1st class.
The class fee is $95, and there is also a $20 Clay fee, both due at the 1st class by CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
Class size is limited to 10 students.

Pre-registration is required online, with a $20 fee paid to Metro Parks at that time. Late registration may be possible.

Metalsmithing and Enameling basics - 20905232

Come learn the beginning skills for jewelry making and metalworking. Traditional bench techniques like sawing, hammering, and soldering. We will also learn to use kiln fired enamel and set it into a piece of jewelry.
All levels welcome. No experience needed. all tools and supplies included.

Homeschool Pottery - 40905102

This is a home school pottery class. Students will complete projects given by instructor learning techniques for ceramics art and principles of design. Older students will have the opportunity to learn wheel throwing and all students will participate in hand building. Glazing will also be taught. Students will have the opportunity to participate in class critiques, practicing how to present their work and ideas, self-reflect on projects and their participation in the course, and how to give constructive criticism to both themselves and class mates.
